The world is grappling with an issue of enormous scale. As a business owner, nutritionist, and mother who cares greatly about the health of our city – I am here with you and together we will get through this.
Our mission statement at Real Damn Good Food restaurant group is: “We believe community matters, food matters, and health matters so we make damn good food that is good for you and hold the space for Central Florida to come together to enjoy it.” Now more than ever is the time for all of us to lean into this mission.
My team and I have worked around the clock to reinvent our business model so we are able to continue to support the health of you and your families. At this time, all three restaurants are OPEN 7 days a week with expanded hours. We have enabled online ordering, curbside pickup & in-house delivery through The Sanctum-Orlando , Proper & Wild – Winter Park and The Sanctum – Altamonte and are now also accepting orders through GrubHub. As the recommendations from the government rapidly unfold, our in-store hours and policies may change swiftly. We will announce all changes as they unfold to you through our social media platforms.
In addition to our normal in-store business, we have launched a *NEW* Virtual Farmers Market in order to greater broaden the reach to our community. This is your one stop shop for local organic produce, family-style meals, chef prepared pre-packaged foods, our signature sauces, award winning desserts and we even tucked in some of our favorite fine wines (because essentials)! So precisely everything our community has been asking for us for years – now available at one convenient online shop.
All items are available for pickup Tuesdays & Saturdays 11am-7pm in Orlando | Winter Park | Altamonte Springs/Longwood (select location at checkout). If you don’t have the means to go out, email us here, and we will do our best to arrange delivery straight to your door.
Your safety and the safety of our staff is of utmost importance. In anticipation of the arising situation, over the last few weeks we have proactively worked to increase cleaning and sanitizing procedures for our stores and invested in training all management company-wide to the highest levels of ServSafe procedures. Our certified food managers are handling all levels of food production, and some of the added cleaning procedures we’ve implemented include, but are not limited to: every 20 minutes re-washing our hands and putting on fresh gloves; every 30 minutes wiping down with food-grade sanitizer all prep surfaces, rice cooker lids, fridge doors, payment terminals, and any other surfaces that are frequently touched; and every 30 minutes running all in-use serving utensils through our commercial dishwasher and sanitizer. Furthermore, we have transitioned to single-use forks, knives, boxes, and cups for food & beverage service. Most of these items are compostable or recyclable.
We stand behind the importance to now, more than ever, eat well. It is my sincerest hopes that the measures my team and I are taking will help support our community in this venture during this strange and unusual time.
Thank you for voting local.
Respectfully
Jamie Savage
